Malathyadi Coconut Oil may be used for application on the scalp before every head wash. Use according to the directions specified or as advised by the Ayurvedic Physician to experience best results.

2. Should I leave Malathyadi Coconut Oil on my scalp overnight?

Ayurveda recommends application of oil on the scalp and hair before head wash. It is advisable to apply the oil 30 minutes to one hour before bath or as recommended by an Ayurvedic Physician.

3. Can I mix my regular hair oil with Malathyadi Coconut Oil?

Commercial hair oils may contain additives and chemicals whereas AVP Malathyadi Coconut Oil is free from any of that kind. Mixing Malathyadi Coconut Oil with a non-Ayurvedic oil is not recommended. However some Ayurvedic Physicians advise two or more oils mixed together for application according to specific conditions. Consult our Ayurvedic Physician, to know more about this.

4. Is it advisable to use Malathyadi Coconut Oil when I have other diseases?

Ayurveda restricts the application of oils on the scalp in some conditions like fever, cold etc. In chronic diseases affecting the scalp also, regular application of oils can affect proper healing adversely. Consult a registered Ayurvedic Practitioner if you have further concerns.
