The Third session of the series of Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme in Ayurveda organized by The Ayurvedic Trust, Coimbatore under the Centre of Excellence Programme was held on 19th December 2010. The CME program in Ayurveda on Osteoarthritis started with Diagnosis and Management of Osteoarthritis by Dr. Dhanasekara Raja, Consultant, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. Dr. ANN Nambi, Director of Academic and Clinical Services, SNA Oushadhasala, Trichur delivered a speech on Classical Understanding of Osteoarthritis in Ayurveda. Dr. P.S. Arathi , Prof. and HOD Kayachikitsa, Santhigiri Ayurveda College, Palakkad presented the topic Management of Osteoarthritis in Ayurveda. Dr. P. Hebeeb, Medical Director, Prashanthi Ayurveda Hospital, Malappuram given a presentation on Evidence Based Management of Osteoarthritis in Ayurveda. Dr. P.T. Keshavan Nambishan, Assistant Chief Medical Officer, AVC, Coimbatore presented Clinical Experiences in Osteoarthritis at Arya Vaidya Chikitsalayam. Finally the programme ended with a Panel Discussion. |
