Brihatrayee Ratna Award 2011 & Rajagopal Rama Varier Memorial AVP Excellence Award were given away on 21st August 2011 at Vikas Auditorium, Shoranur, Kerala.

Lighting of Lamp Mahakavi Akkitham Achuthan Namboodiri lighted the lamp as a mark of auspiciousness. This was followed by a prayer and welcome dance by the students of PNNM Ayurveda College, Shoranur.

Welcome and Institutional Address was delivered by Shri. P.R. Krishna Kumar Managing Director, AVP Group of Institutions. This was followed by Address by Guest of Honor Shri. M.P. Veerendra Kumar Chairman and Managing Director, Mathrubhumi.

Thereafter the following awards were presented -

There was  an Address by Award Recipients

Prof. Sara Joseph Writer and Kendra Sahitya Academy Awardee Shri. C.P. Mohammed MLA also spoke on the occasion.
