Dr. KG Raveendran, Medical Director, Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore was honored with the prestigious PINNACLERS INDIA 2009 Award for significant achievement in Ayurveda. The award was given away ceremoniously at the Corporation Kalai Arangam on April 14 2009 at Coimbatore.
Kovai Achievement Award Committee under the aegis of People's Arts Centre, Mumbai organized a unique felicitation and achievement award to 25 eminent personalities representing different walks of life from the "Manchester of South India", Coimbatore. The awardees variously represented Academy, Architecture, Art, Ayurveda, Bureaucrats, Catering, Chartered Accountants, Culture, Design & Print, Doctors, Engineers, Film Makers, Games, Hospitality, Industry, Judiciary, Literature, Media, Science, Social Work, Sports, Tourism, Trade, Transport and Travel.
The awards ceremony was organized in connection with the 119th Birthday of the architect of Indian Constitution Bhart Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Dr. U. Indulal, Deputy Director of the Ayurvedic Trust received the award on behalf of Dr. KG Raveendran.
