Every year AVP is organising many events and programs not only for the promotion of Ayurveda, but also of the allied streams of knowledge like yoga and of literary, arts and culture.

Arya Vaidyan P. V. Rama Varier Memorial Brihatrayee Ratna Award : This award was instituted by AVP in 1994 with the aim of recognising the lifetime work and achievements of individuals in Ayurveda with specific contributions in Academics, Resaerch, clinical Practice, and publication etc.A citation and cashaward of 1 lakh rupees is presented to the awardee on 24th August each year on the Birth anniversary of our Founder. The Brihatrayee Ratna Award for the year 2009, scheduled to be held in the second week of September at Pune has been postponed due to the H1N1 Flu Epidemic. It is now scheduled to be organized on 24th of April, 2010.

Arya Vaidyan P.V.Rama Varier Birth Centenary Year Programs 2007-2008

During 2007-2008, the AVP group celebrated the birth centenary of its illustrious founder Arya Vaidyan P.V. Rama Varier by organizing a series of scientific seminars and symposiums. More than 20 seminars, conferences, work shops were conducted all over India.

To conclude this celebrations the group joined AVREFA (Arya Vaidyan Rama Varier Educational Foundation of Ayurveda) to conduct an International Ayurveda Convention and Health Expo at Coimbatore from August 22-24th, 2008. Please visit www.ayurvedaconvention.com for more details.
